PUPPET SCRAPS ISLAND is a place where trash becomes treasure. The project functions as a clothing drive; what we can't donate for second-hand use becomes immortalized as characters, locales, flora, and fauna of THE ISLAND.

Over the course of the workshop, anyone can stop by the space to drop off materials. They will see a little world being built - we are hard at work, crafting characters and sets, brainstorming short skits, dialogue, music and more. At the end of the period we conclude with a gallery show, including small performances, utilizing all of the art made over the course of the project.
